First Farm Inn - A Kentucky Bed and Breakfast for People and Horses

A getaway for all seasons
First Farm Inn’s porch rockers are comfortable and relaxing nearly year-round. The 200-year-old maples keep the porch cool on even the warmest summer days.

There’s a reason the south has a reputation for sippin’ ‘n rockin’ on the veranda..

At First Farm Inn Kentucky, your getaway can include a romantic stretch in our hammock built for two strung between two perfectly placed 100-year-old maples - something you won't find at any Cincinnati hotel or motel or other bed and breakfast.
“What a beautiful way to wind down our 25th wedding anniversary celebration. The house and antiques plus pictures of the relatives made me take a trip down memory lane of my happy childhood with my grandparents in Boston, Kentucky. We enjoyed catching bass down at the lake while I enjoyed the beautiful stained glass of this lovely farm home.
Looking forward to our special breakfast and also to visit again our home away from home.”

Porch swing and hammock weather extends into fall, sometimes even to sunny December days.

Well mannered, closely supervised children and pets are accepted at First Farm Inn Kentucky to share your room for an additional charge. Cincinnati Children's Museum, the Cincinnati Zoo, Rabbit Hash General Store, the Shops of Historic Burlington, Big Bone Lick State Park, Perfect North Ski Slopes and more offer great experiences for responsible, thoughtful young B&B guests and their parents.
"Home is where you are happy and there are all the little comforts you can have.  When I arrived I said to myself, 'I am home.'  I knew it.  Southern hospitality is alive and well here.  The ladies that did the decorating are geniuses.  I've never stayed in such a gorgeous place.  All the charm & beauty and security of home.
"Such a kind and sweet family.  Everywhere a nice surprise.  All the little things that count I found here.  Time disappears.  I had such a wonderful time.  I found it hard to sleep because I was busy marveling at the quaintness and peacefulness of this place  I had to admire everything.
"'A Spoonful of Sugar' (played by a sugar bowl full of candy in one room)  That is the best kind of compliment I ever received from any overnight accomodations.  I will never forget that music box.  Thank you!  I was given everything!  P.S. The energy in this place, this home, is happy and loving and it makes everything around here thriving and vigorous.  Look at all the happy animals."

Cozy up by the fireplace

Flowers bloom spring, summer and fall. Starting or expanding beds at your house? We’ll share perennials! Fall Flowers
The fireplace offers cozy warmth and the toasty smell of burning wood throughout the winter. Lots of great books, movies and magazines are available for your entertainment.

While we’ve skied out west and learned to like the hot tub best in winter, it’s accessible year-round. In the corner of the deck, it’s sheltered from most cold winds. What’s more fun than sipping a drink, counting the stars, and reveling luxuriously in swirling hot water while snowflakes melt on your eyelashes and tendrils of hair freeze into icicles?
“Thank you very much for our happy and peaceful stay with all of your special care. Your consideration for detail and comfort is wonderful.”

At First Farm Inn Kentucky, just outside Cincinnati, B&B guests can count the stars from the outdoor hot tub year round - an experience not offered at any other bed and breakfast, hotel or motel in the Northern Kentucky-Greater Cincinnati region.
“The breakfasts were wonderful, the room comfortable, the conversation warm and interesting. Overall you really do a fine job of providing an atmosphere of relaxation -- just what we were looking for on our 1rst anniversary.”
